From Citizen Action of Wisconsin

Dear Health Care Reform Activists,

I am writing to make sure you all know that this Tuesday (June 7) is healthcare day at the Walkerville Tent City which sprang up over the weekend.  There are several events, and healthcare supporters will be camping out that evening.

There will be two street theater events that should be a great deal of fun.  At 12 Noon there will be a "Theater of the Oppressed" Workshop (flyer attached) and a 7 PM mock Boxing Match with the opponents of quality affordable health care and long term care  (flyer attached).  There will will also be an out-door showing of the classic health care movie "Sicko" at 9 PM, followed by the sleepover.

Other events of note on Tuesday outside the Capitol are a 1 PM Immigrant Rights Press Conference to protest the repeal of in-state tuition for immigrant students led by Voces de la Frontera; and a 5:30 PM Run Against Walker event led by One Wisconsin Now.

I hope to see you on Tuesday!

In Solidarity,

Robert Kraig
