Medical Update

I saw the doctor on Friday and we both agreed to schedule surgery for the end of September, beginning of October. A few of the tumors have grown slightly, the one that's over a foot long, that goes from my left to right side is causing discomfort. The trick will be not to let it go for to long in the chance that it becomes cancerous and I don't want to be as sick as I was last time. I'll know if I need to go in sooner, I've learned to listen to what my body is telling me.
I have a few things to do to get my house in order before surgery and I need one more selling season so my son has the money he needs to pay the bills while I'm in the hospital and while recovering. The hospital stay will be two weeks and recovery time is six to eight weeks. To be honest, I don't want to miss summer! After the long and brutal winter we have had, I want to thoroughly enjoy the warmth of summer when it arrives. Here's hoping and praying I can hold out that long!
